speaking on The FLY Pentop Computer: A New Paradigm in Thought and Learning with Pen and Paper
Industry leader LeapFrog continues to provide solutions to today's educational
challenges for teachers, parents and kids from 4th to 8th grade.
From LeapPad forward, the LeapFrog learning system continues to evolve.
In Fall 2005, LeapFrog will launch its new FLY
Pentop Computer, developed for
tweens.
Jim will tell us about the evolution of LeapFrog's paper-based solution, explaining FLY's development and ground-breaking possibilities -- and Bryan will demonstrate some of FLY's forward-thinking applications
Mr. Marggraff developed the concept of paper-computing and is leading LeapFrog in developing
the FLY Pentop Computer. He is co-inventor of the LeapPad learning system
and the Odyssey and Explorer interactive globe lines.
Mr. Bleil has created and developed dozens of educational software and toy products for companies such as LeapFrog, IBM, and Riverdeep. He leads the content, engineering, operations and marketing teams for LeapFrog's FLY program.

Where? LeapFrog is located in the East Bay near Berkeley:
Entrance is on 64th Street. Park on 64th Street or in visitor parking
outside the LeapFrog garage. (The garage is employees only and requires
a badge for entry -- sorry!)
Then What? NETWORKING NIGHT!
After the talk, we'll have an informal NETWORKING NIGHT at a restaurant
nearby, to discuss what we've learned at LeapFrog, and for our always
lively introductions, conversations, questions, and brainstorming among
our members and guests.
This is the best part of WIT - the chance to share ideas and problems
and solutions, to connect with each other and share our expertise.
