New York -- 11/03/04 -- Over 50 attendees representing major toy companies
large and small -- Spinmaster Toys, Effanbee Dolls, Innovative Kids, DC
Comics, Mattel, Fisher Price, Toy Biz, Uneeda Doll, Bandai America, Sesame
Workshop, NSI, International Playthings, Small World Toys, International Playthings
and Warner Brothers, among others, attended the Third Annual WIT Design
Portfolio Show at the International Toy Center during the Fall Mass Market Show
in New
York.
Seventeen of the industry's top Industrial Designers, Packaging Companies,
Illustrators, Sculptors and Marketers exhibited during the show in a spacious
and elegant showroom provided by the International Toy Center in the landmark
200 Fifth Avenue building. The traffic was extraordinarily brisk from the
moment the show opened until the very end of the exhibit.
Board Member, Anne Pitrone, states, "The Third Annual WIT Design
Portfolio
Show was more well-attended than ever. I was delighted by the response from
the
Toy Community. This exhibit serves a need within our industry to showcase the
"talent behind the toys" to those executives in Toy Companies who require
the
very best in product development and design.
"In addition, Women in Toys would like to thank the management
of ITC, the
staff and specifically, Steven Feinstein and Nancy Peters, for their wonderful
support in making this show the most successful WIT has had to date!"
