About the Role

Position Overview
The Marketing Manager at Women in Toys, Licensing & Entertainment (WiT) is responsible for leading
and executing strategic marketing and communications initiatives that drive awareness, engagement,
and community participation.
This role combines both strategic oversight and tactical execution. A successful candidate must be
highly cross-functional — someone who can lead and also complete hands-on work independently.

Qualifications
●7+ years of experience in integrated marketing, digital strategy, or program management
●Proficient with digital tools including Google Suite, Zoom, Mailchimp, Slack and Canva
●Familiarity with Monday.com, JotForm and Survey Monkey
●Excellent written and verbal communication skills
●Highly organized; Demonstrated ability to manage timelines and cross-functional workflows

Schedule & Location
●Full-time, remote position. Must be U.S. based.
●Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm with occasional evening or weekend hours
●Potential travel as required

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Develop and oversee an integrated marketing strategy that unifies all channels—including

digital, social, email, events, and content—under a cohesive and measurable framework.


Digital & Social Media Strategy

●Develop strategy for WiT’s digital presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Slack

●Strategize and direct monthly content calendars

●Review and approve posts for branding and tone consistency

●Lead engagement and community-building activities



Email Marketing & Communications

●Ideate, draft and edit weekly and dedicated e-blasts

●Align email content strategy with ongoing social media and programming themes

●Coordinate visual asset integration and approval workflows


Slack Channel Management

●Set up and monitor Slack channels for events, chapters, and internal communication

●Schedule relevant reminders and moderate conversations for tone and appropriateness


Creative, Content & Copy Oversight

●Strategize annual programming themes and develop monthly content calendars

Review creative assets and copy for brand consistency and voice

●Ensure alignment between creative content and strategic goals

●Coordinate content review and approvals with internal stakeholders


Program & Community Event Marketing

●Plan, host, and moderate virtual programs including webinars & workshops

●Manage webinar logistics including vet speakers, prep calls, scripts, and audience engagement


Public Relations & Press Communications

●Write and distribute press releases for key announcements, events, and initiatives

●Collaborate with external media contacts and outlets to amplify WiT’s visibility

●Maintain and update press lists and ensure messaging aligns with overall brand strategy
