About the Role
Responsibilities
• Establish and maintain a strong relationship with the Amazon Vendor Manager and the broader Amazon toys team, acting as
the primary point of contact.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
• Collaborate with an internal Analyst to conduct regular analyses of sales data, market share, and financial performance
required to develop accurate sales forecasts and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, product development, marketing and supply chain, to ensure alignment and
successful execution of account plans.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new product launches, promotions, and cross-selling initiatives.
• Negotiate favorable terms and conditions for sales agreements and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with pricing, promotional, and trade spend agreements.
• Collaborate with Amazon on category management initiatives, including assortment planning, pricing strategies, and
performance ad optimization.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on market and consumer insights to drive category growth and improve overall
performance.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to strengthen relationships and stay updated on market trends.
• Other duties identified to drive performance and meet business needs.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in national account management or key account management with Amazon.
• Expertise in Vendor Central, including pulling various analytical reports / POS data, managing product listings, refutingchargebacks, etc
.• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Strong proficiency in data interpretation and the ability to craft compelling narratives for commercial purposes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated relationship-building and cross-functional partnership ability.
• Strong organizational skills and follow-through with great attention to detail.
• Knowledge of the toy industry is preferred but not required
