About the Role
The Production Manager at WildBrain Spark Studios will be responsible for providing an essential management function across all content produced in-house and co-productions. From the development stage to the delivery. You will be responsible for all organisational aspects of production management including scheduling, budgeting, contracting, any additional administration and ensuring all content is delivered on-time and on-budget. This role reports directly to the Head of Production.

Responsibilities
Working as a team player and closely with the Head of Production, Production Management team and the Editorial team
Managing and setting realistic schedules/ budgets and contracts for assigned shows/ projects
Working with the Head of Production and Production Managers on pushing forward new processes/ pipelines helping streamline the department
Collaborating with the Senior Producers and making sure that all arrangements for resourcing/ Facilities/ spends for all content produced
Client facing (when required) - to ensure clear scope and assumptions up front.
Managing additional scope during productions and having the confidence to manage expectations on additional requests out of scope
Negotiating costs with talent/crew/agencies/suppliers to get the best deals for third party services needed by production.
Ensuring all administration work is in place (contracts, licenses, clearances, releases) for productions.
Responsible for adherence to all aspects of health & safety, safeguarding and any relevant guidelines and codes with respect to content production.
Plays a key role in the transformation and refining of processes the Production team uses, ensuring we adopt efficient and dynamic approaches to support seamless handovers and relationship with other teams.
Line management of a Production Co-ordinator/ Production Assistant if require
Qualifications
A proven track-record of successfully delivering multiple complex projects with knowledge of all aspects of development, production and post-production.
Experience in character animated series production across multiple executions, 2D, 3D, and stop motion, ideally in-house at a studio.
Multi-tasker, with the ability to keep several projects moving at once.
Experience of budget creation and management.
A team-player, allrounder, collaborator, motivator and manager with the ability to help cross-functional teams.
Experience of production management systems, such as ftrack, shotgun, Hive, Monday.com and/or any similar software's. Ideally having worked on the back end finding efficiencies for the pipeline and tools.
Deliver organisation and prioritisation skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Analytical, with ability to communicate to internal/external parties when required
