Adventure Media and Events seeks a full-time, mid-level ad sales professional with the capability and drive to SELL. The ideal candidate is smart and highly motivated with a strong background in both print and digital ad sales, as well as event sponsorships and more.
We are looking for an ambitious self starter with the ability to identify and close business. You will be prospecting and closing business via phone, email, and in person at trade shows and consumer conventions, and will be expected to maintain call reports of all sales activity.
Responsibilities
Establish a consistent pipeline of calls on a daily basis via lead generation
Build a client base and maintain communication over both the long and short term to ensure lasting partnerships
Identify clients' goals and create ad/sponsorship programs to meet those objectives
Interact with editorial department to ensure sales success and client service
Brainstorm and create marketing materials and campaigns to help drive sales
Some travel required
Requirements
Outgoing, ambitious, and persistent personality
Motivated by closing the sale!
Track record of success in ad sales
College degree (BA/BS)
