POSITION SUMMARY
The Temp Sales Administrator will provide reporting and sales support for multiple retail partners. This role will work collaboratively providing reporting, coordination and support for a variety of programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative responsibilities including but not limited to: coordination and execution of all item set-ups, quote sheets, customer proposals, and other administrative projects as assigned.
Retailer portal management: Item set-up and maintenance, running POS reports, maintaining updated vendor forms, agreements, certificates, etc.
Collaborate through communication and teamwork with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous, and professional manner
Exercise sound business judgment
Work independently and collaboratively and manage time effectively in order to meet changing deadlines and priorities
Treat all employees, guests and customers and others affiliated with our business with respect
Conform and abide by all laws, regulations, policies, work procedures, instructions and VTech's Rules of Engagement
Conform with all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment
Other duties as needed or required
POSITION SKILLS
Experience with a wide variety of retailers and their systems is a plus.
Ability to read and understand point of sale reports for accuracy
Forecasting and analysis experience with consumer goods is a plus
Advanced MS Office skills including Excel (including pivot tables, charts, formulas and macros) and PowerPoint.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time to meet changing deadlines and priorities.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
1-3 years of progressively responsible experience in the area of Retail administrative support
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field; or any combination of experience and education that provides the necessary skills, knowledge and ability to perform essential functions of this role.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position will be 100% remote.
MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Mental activities required by this job include constant decision making, discretion, problem analysis and resolution, independent judgment and independent action. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee must read, speak, write and understand the English language. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, and use their hands to handle and grasp, reach with hands and arms. The employee may be occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds [50 pounds if travel]. Specific vision abilities may be required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus with or without the use of prescription eyeglasses.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a 30-32 hour per week position with flexible scheduling. Core hours will be set between employee and manager.
