Enter the exciting world of Toys! Reporting directly to the Manager, Sales & Analytics, Walmart, this versatile role will be an integral part of the Walmart Sales Team providing support through multiple areas of responsibility.
You will provide proactive analysis of sales trends, identify future opportunities, and minimize potential risks to the existing business. You will be the subject matter expert when it comes to understanding the Infant Preschool Toy category at Walmart, effectively communicating via Email and PowerPoint Decks Weekly POS results, Productivity Performance, and the Competitive Landscape to both internal and external stake holders. You will evaluate the effectiveness of OOA Features, Rollbacks, and New Item Launches. You will also be responsible for New Item Set Ups (Item 360), Sample Management, Quote Implementation (QMS), and other project management tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES
Customer Analytics: Use Retail Link, Luminate, TR3 and MicroStrategies data, along with Circana Market Data to analyze, interpret and present information with a net result of driving sales, resulting analysis will point out sales performance and opportunity gaps for Walmart across each respective category.
Prepare reporting and analysis as directed by Manager, Sales & Analytics, Walmart including but not limited to Scorecards, Item Info, New Item Trackers, Price Gap, Market Share, Feature Trackers, Rollback Reporting, Productivity Trend and other reports as required.
Provide analytical insights to assist in driving business decisions and strategy.
Prepare and submit product quotes in Retail Link Quote Management System by required deadlines, maintaining all necessary updates after initial submission.
Implement all Item Set Ups for Walmart and Sam's Club and manage ongoing item maintenance.
Oversee the product sample process for the Layout Center, and other sample requests, including but not limited to ordering, receiving, and labeling quotes by the identified deadlines.
Assist Sr. Director of Sales and Manager, Sales & Analytics, Walmart with Mod set up and maintenance at the Bentonville office.
Manage Audits and tracking on Walmart.com, providing updates to Walmart Sales Team including pricing (key driver items), features and promotional item performance and status, searchability optimization, and reviews tracking.
Collaborate with VTech Marketing team on Price Spider analysis for competitive retailer pricing.
Work with VTech Marketing on updates and management of PDP's, driving best in class content quality scores.
Assist in general office management of the Bentonville office.
Collaborate through communication and teamwork with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous, and professional manner.

Work independently and collaboratively and manage time effectively in order to meet changing deadlines and priorities.

POSITION SKILLS
Must have experience using Retail Link. Experience with QMS (Quote Management System), Luminate, and Item 360 is preferred.
Ability to extract data, conduct analysis and communicate clear and concise results to meet business needs and identify opportunity.
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Strong written and verbal communication skills including story telling with data.
Strong planning/organizing skills: capable of managing major projects simultaneously.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
1-3 years of progressively responsible experience with Walmart or Supplier, preferably in a sales analytics role.
Bachelor's degree or any combination of experience and education that provides the necessary skills, knowledge and ability to perform essential functions of this role.
MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY
This position has no management/supervisory responsibilities.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a 40 hour per week position. Core hours will be set between individual and manager and will be based on business needs. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Job duties may be performed approximately 50% from home office and 50% from the Bentonville office, subject to business needs.
TRAVEL
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected 10% of the time.
