About the Role

The role of the Sales Director is to work with the Marketing Team to qualify leads, influence prospects, and sign new clients. In addition, the sales director position works very closely with the Client Service Team to implement new clients, manage client expectations and identify additional needs within our existing worldwide client base.



Develop and maintain relationships with prospects and clients.

Work with the Marketing Team to qualify leads.

Prospect and close new business within the territory (6+ new clients per year).

Reply to request-for-proposals, generate quotes, perform product demonstrations, and conduct contract negotiations.

Support the Client Service Team throughout the implementation process. Manage client expectations to ensure successful implementations to guarantee client satisfaction.

Service existing clients within the territory (20+ companies).

Understand prospects’ needs and be able to illustrate how our software can help solve their challenges.

Manage revenue forecast & sales pipeline for territory.

Visit clients, and attend trade shows, marketing, and local events, both virtually and in person when and where required.

Promote the company in cooperation with the Marketing Team by conducting webinars, and writing blog posts to build the DSI brand.

Maintain relevant contact databases in Salesforce & MS Dynamics CRM.


Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of Products and Salesforce CRM.

Excellent English, verbal, and written skills.

Solid organizational skills including attention to detail while handling parallel priorities.

The high degree of flexibility when accommodating shifting priorities.

Problem-solving skills.


Licensing Industry Experience

Bachelor’s degree


French, Spanish, and/or German language proficiency is a plus

Knowledge of licensing, creative approval, and royalty systems a plus
