About the Role
As the Senior Manager of International Marketing, will contribute to developing the vast and growing plush portfolio of Jazwares and will ensure the Marketing plans from Jazwares International customers align with the strategy outlined by the Global Brand and Marketing teams while being tailored to the needs of International markets.
What you will do:
Develop expertise on the Jazwares plush brands (e.g. Squishmallows, BumBumz, Living on the Veg, JazPlush).
Master the Brand and Product strategies of the various sub-brands as well as the marketing approach.
Review trends, sales data, consumer behaviors, and competitive analysis for the plush segment.
Create and maintain educational tools to keep International Sales and Distribution partners informed and engaged (e.g. international brand decks, best marketing practices, brand highlights, newsletters).
Provide guidance and leadership to develop the potential of these brands in International territories.
Team up with International sales to create tailored programs aimed at maximizing the potential of each brand.
Partner with Distributors to help develop local marketing plans aligned with a global approach.
Collect business intelligence about the performance of these brands (e.g. placement grids) and share analysis with International Sales.
Provide direction and guidance to assigned Associate International Marketing Manager(s), evaluate work, and manage performance.
Requirements
What we are looking for:Â
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, public relations, or industry-related field required  Â
5-10 years of brand, marketing, or other relevant experience working with international markets and distributors
2-4 years of leadership experience
Problem-solving: Strong ability to use critical and creative thinking to resolve issues by identifying root causes
Ability to provide leadership to distribution partners, Territory managers, and direct reports
Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts to a variety of different teams, including non-EN speakers. Excellent verbal and written communicator.
Highly organized and efficient. Ability to thrive in a high-pressure and time-sensitive environment. Agile, easily adapts to shifts in priorities.
Creative thinking and ability to drive the creative process for developing assets.
Ability to understand the specifics of the different International markets under their responsibility and assess the potential of Jazwares' brands accordingly
Proficiency with G Suite, spreadsheets, and other online tools
Multi-lingual is a plus (comfortable in evolving in a multi-language landscape)
