More About Me

Tell us about your career journey and how you ended up here.

I have been working with our founding partner, Michael Connolly, when we both joined Disney Consumer Products in 2004. He and I became fast friends. After he left Disney to run International Licensing at Viacom, we joined forces at DreamWorks Animation Studios when he was brought on-board to head Global Licensing, and I joined his team to run Global Retail Sales. We talked a lot about what would be next for us and the notion of building a company was always a North Star for Michael. Once the vision of Retail Monster became a reality, we have hired the best and the brightest of people we had worked with over the years. We were blessed that our colleague from DreamWorks, Colin McLaughlin, joined our team and became the third partner. We just celebrated our 4th year and were honored to have been nominated this year for the 2020 LIMA Awards for "Best Licensing Agency". "If you can dream it, you can do it"- Walt Disney

Describe yourself in 5-7 words.

I love Turning a NO into a YES.

What is your favorite part of your job?

My favorite aspect in my role at Retail Monster is the opportunity to collaborate and partner with licensees, brand holders and retail to develop and build our brands to continue the art of story-telling. I thrive on building programs.

How about when you "turn off" and go home? Any hobbies or fun activities you are involved in?

I am an avid runner and love a good HIT class. I would rather run/work for an hour than sleep for another hour. And, I love working with Dog Rescues, finding fur-ever homes for dogs in need.

Any must-read, must-watch or must-follow recommendations?

I just finished some amazing tv shows: YellowStone (Amazon), Queen of the South (USA Channel and Netflix), Money Heist (Netflix), Hunters and a great book I just finished reading, "Never Split the Difference".

Anything else you want to share with the WIT Community?

I believe that the success of each and every woman should be the inspiration to another woman. We should raise each other up to be strong, be extremely kind, and above all, be humble.
