Monica Brown is a marketer and product strategist with over 20 years of experience and a passion for building innovative brands for parents, children and educators and deep expertise in all areas of business growth, consumer insights, marketing, product strategy, and marketing process development. She founded Align Strategy Group, a product-marketing consultancy that works collaboratively with companies to build their brands, develop differentiated new product strategies, find new areas of growth and consumer relevance and launch products to market.
Prior to founding Align Strategy Group, Monica spent 14 years in the toy, education and entertainment industries. As Vice President of Product Marketing at LeapFrog and then VTech, she led the launch of popular educational products such as LeapStart and the LeapPad Tablet, winning Toy of the Year Awards globally. In addition, Monica led the launch of LeapFrog's App Center, a proprietary digital marketplace with 1,000+ apps, and LeapFrog Academy, LeapFrog's first mobile software subscription service.
Monica has an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and B.A. degrees in Literature and Psychology from UC Santa Cruz.
