Role Overview

We’re looking for a Sales Support Specialist who is equal parts detail-oriented and creative. This role is central to helping our sales team shine—through polished presentations, strong platform management, sharp copywriting, and seamless trade show support. If you have a knack for learning new tech, enjoy juggling multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative environment, this might be your perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities

Create compelling presentation decks and sales collateral.
Manage and maintain our CRM database to ensure accurate customer and lead information.
Oversee and update listings across sales platforms (Faire, MarketTime, etc.).
Write engaging product copy, newsletters, and marketing materials that align with our brand voice.
Plan and coordinate trade shows, including logistics, booth prep, and follow-up.
Attend and represent Project Genius at ~4 trade shows per year.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to write and publish newsletters to retailers.
Support other cross-functional projects as needed in a growing company environment.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience working in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) at a B2B company.


Strong writing skills with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive copy.


High level of technical aptitude—comfortable learning and adopting new systems quickly.


Experience with CRM platforms (we use Monday) and basic data management.


Strong organizational and project management skills.


Ability to travel domestically for trade shows (~4 times per year).


Comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial environment where responsibilities can shift quickly.


Bonus Points



Experience with email platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp).


Familiarity with wholesale marketplaces and sales platforms (Faire, Market Time).


Design skills (PowerPoint, Canva, or Adobe Suite).
