Lisa Whitaker is a Global Brand Strategist with over 30 years in the toy industry. With extensive brand building experience, Lisa has a proven track record in Integrated Marketing, Brand and Account Management, and New Business Development. Lisa started her career in Market Research at Kenner Products, prior to Hasbro’s acquisition of Kenner. In her time at Hasbro, Lisa managed many well-known brands such as Play-Doh, Littlest Pet Shop, Baby Alive, Batman, and Transformers, and was the VP Marketing and Global Brand Captain for Star Wars at the Episode 1 release.Prior to co-founding Kidfinity, Lisa worked alongside co-founders Darryl Wizenberg and Tolly Wizenberg at both TOLLYTOTS and JAKKS Pacific. At JAKKS, she drove strategy, ideation and the successful launch of new Disney Princess product segments as well as devising creative strategies for the financials, product, distribution, and branding of various other Disney licenses. Her experience and unparalleled integrity continue to inspire peers and put her at the forefront of every business in which she is involved. Apart from her accomplishments in the industry, Lisa is a proud mother of four children.
