Karen, a Director at Stout Risius Ross, LLC (“Stout”), is a CPA and has been working in the financial and economic consulting industry for over 20 years. She provides intellectual property valuations and licensing royalty compliance audit services.

Karen’s experience includes assisting clients in different phases of commercializing intellectual property. Specifically, she performs valuation of the intellectual property by analyzing market potential of the relevant products, competitors and potential buyers in the market, and potential profits attributable to the intellectual property. Karen also assists clients in intellectual property licensing and buy/sell negotiations. For clients who have successfully commercialized their intellectual property, Karen provides royalty compliance audit services to ensure accurate reporting and payment from licensees by performing on-site interviews and examining their books and records.
