Dr. Loretta Chen is an award-winning entrepreneur, creative director, and advocate for women in leadership. As the newly appointed Chair of the Women in Toys (WiT) Hawaii Chapter, she brings a global perspective and decades of experience in media, immersive storytelling, and emerging technology. A

former theater director, bestselling author, and nominated Member of Parliament, Loretta is also the founder and CEO of Smobler, a Web3 and gaming studio championing diversity, sustainability, and impact. Based in Hawaii and Singapore, she serves as a bridge between East and West, with a deep commitment

to empowering women and underrepresented communities in the toy, entertainment, and innovation industries. A proud rescue cat mom and mentor, Loretta combines business acumen with heart, spearheading initiatives that amplify women’s voices and unlock new opportunities for creative entrepreneurs. Her leadership at WiT Hawaii aims to nurture community, catalyze collaboration, and elevate the next generation of female changemakers.
