About the Role
As the Associate Brand Manager in our Girls' Brand division, you will be the anchor, go-to team member on your assigned brand(s) for development, creative and organizational support. You will be a valued resource to the team and work alongside your cross-functional team members from design, packaging, marketing, sales, and international teams to help bring innovative play experiences to market.
What you will do:
Manage product line plans and other essential brand documents and tools and communicate any updates or changes for assigned brand(s).
Assist in line plan recommendations for assigned brand(s), ensuring a diverse product line that satisfies the needs of all retail channels and global territories.
Coordinate new product planning for every development season.
Partner with your cross-functional team to ensure brand integrity across all product development milestones and marketing initiatives.
Review and assist in the creative direction of product assets including e-commerce and artistic photography, copywriting, videography, trade shows materials, etc. to ensure brand consistency and vision is maintained.
Manage multiple daily tasks, as well as larger, longer-term projects, proactively, efficiently, and accurately, and successfully adjust to shifts in priorities in order to meet goals and deadlines.
Gain a foundational understanding of brand profitability, and financial objectives and build programs/products to meet and exceed those goals.
Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with our licensing partners and serve as a point of contact for communication and updates.
Research and identify trends in the toys or kids' entertainment space to apply to assigned brands.
Requirements
What we are looking for:Â
2-3 years of relevant brand, or product management experience.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, in marketing area or related field.Â
Experience in consumer products and licensing, or a passion for toys is a plus.
Proficient in Google Suite + MS Office Suite (basic Adobe Creative Suite knowledge PLUS).
Strong written and verbal communication skills - an articulate speaker and presenter who knows how to read and engage an audience
Skilled in presentation composition and communication apps including Google Slides and MS PowerPoint
Ability to thrive in a time-sensitive environment and be nimble enough to adapt to shifts in priorities
Trend-savvy, highly organized, and efficient team player.
