About the Role

Are you interested in being part of an incredible, category-leading brand in the toy industry? MAGNA-TILES is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate Demand Planner with 3+ years of experience, preferably in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. The candidate will be responsible for optimizing the demand forecast and ensuring product availability within the supply chain. They will work closely with the demand planning, sales, marketing, and operations teams to optimize the demand planning process and support operational and business goals. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, familiarity with supply chain processes, and the ability to collaborate with various teams to meet company objectives.

This position reports to our Demand Planner though you’ll work with teammates across the organization to help create an incredible brand experience for millions of kids and families across the world.

What We’re Looking For
-Support the development and analysis of the demand forecast for the international business and other Key Accounts using input from sales, marketing, and external distributors.

-Create and adjust the demand forecasts based on historical sales trends, market condition changes, and promotional opportunities.

-Work closely with our procurement team in Hong Kong to provide demand forecast changes to ensure timely ordering and replenishment of inventory.

-Help monitor inventory levels and inventory turns to ensure product availability while minimizing excess inventory.

-Conduct comprehensive analysis of historical sales, market trends, seasonal fluctuations, promotions, point-of-sale (POS) data, and inventory levels to generate accurate demand signals that influence supply chain decisions and mitigate risk.

-Assist in preparing demand alignment meetings to identify demand variances and assist in resolving discrepancies.

-Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure efficient product flow and timely delivery.

-Analyze inventory reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

-Establish forecasting tools and software to support inventory planning decisions.

-Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory management efficiency and effectiveness.

-Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for demand planning and inventory management.

-Prepare and present regular reports on inventory status, forecasts, and other relevant metrics to management and other internal functions including current demand risks and opportunities in the Monthly S&OP meetings.

-Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

Desired Experience + Skills


-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain -Management, Finance, or a related field.

-Proven experience (3+ years) as an Inventory Analyst, Supply Chain Analyst, Junior Planner or similar role, preferably in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.

-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.

-Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with international teams and stakeholders.

-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

-Collaborative and adaptable with a positive “can-do” attitude
