We are hiring an Executive Vice President of Sales to
help us expand our retail partnerships and shape the next chapter of our legacy brand. About the Role
The Executive Vice President of Sales will lead strategy and execution for all sales initiatives, focusing on deepening relationships with current accounts while opening doors to new large-scale retail opportunities. Reporting directly to company leadership, this person will build and implement a scalable sales framework that supports both existing wholesale distribution and future retail expansion.
What You’ll Do
● Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for the company’s next phase of
retail growth.
● Build and nurture relationships with large national retailers and regional accounts to expand
product placement and visibility.
● Lead all aspects of the sales cycle from prospecting and pitch through negotiation and long-term
partnership management.
● Collaborate closely with leadership, product development, and operations to align product
assortment and inventory planning with retail demand. Use data and forecasting to set revenue targets, identify opportunities, and guide
decision-making.
● Represent the brand at trade shows and industry events, maintaining a pulse on trends and
competitor activity.
● Over time, grow and mentor a small internal sales team as the organization scales.
Requirements
Who You Are
You’re a relationship-builder and business driver who thrives on opening new doors. You bring the polish, persistence, and creativity needed to win business in competitive retail environments, motivated by both results and relationships.
Key Requirements:
● 8-10+ years of experience in sales leadership within consumer goods, toys, games, or related
categories.
● Proven success developing relationships with major national retailers and expanding retail
footprint.
● Strong understanding of wholesale, distribution, and omnichannel sales strategies.
● Experience working directly with founders or executive leadership in a growth-oriented,
entrepreneurial business.
● Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
● A roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and excitement about helping a legacy brand evolve into its next
stage.
