More About Me
Tell us about your career journey and how you ended up here.
Our childhood was filled with reading books aloud (the Elephant and Piggie series by Mo Willems was a family favorite!), singing, puppet shows, acting out made-up stories, countless trips to magical theme parks, and watching lots of classic animation and cartoons.
Always up for trying something new, we also participated in various dance classes, musical theatre groups, and kids’ acting & improv classes. (Florida is so hot year-round, our parents were always looking for extracurricular activities to do inside in the air-conditioning!) We had some fun experiences with commercials and print work in the local market. But when we learned that Voiceover was a thing, we knew that was what we wanted to do! It combined our love of reading, singing, acting out stories, toys, and cartoons – serendipity!
The only problem…voiceover was not very popular or easily accessible in our area at the time. We tried to get into voiceover for a while before we were able to get started. Our Mom/Manager started reaching out to contacts in other entertainment markets and then we were able to connect with top industry coaches remotely. We trained across multiple voiceover genres – like animation, toys, and commercial VO – and then practiced-practiced-practiced and auditioned-auditioned-auditioned. Over time our persistence and hard work earned us a track record of more and more voiceover bookings and agency representation across the country.
Today, we work with various toy companies, animation studios, production studios, creative agencies, and streaming services that specialize in the kids’ market. We have been doing Voiceover for half of our lives!

Tell us about a time when you thrived at work, and what you learned about yourself from that experience.
For the past few years, we have supported a local charity in our community, Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, through financial donations (a percentage of our voiceover bookings) and by hosting Virtual Food Drives and fundraisers promoted on socials to garner support from our family, friends, fans, and followers.
Recently, we came up with a new way to use our voices to give back to the community. We developed a Voiceover Workshop Series for Kids & Teens with all proceeds benefiting Second Harvest Food Bank. We developed a lesson plan, wrote custom VO scripts, marketed the classes on socials, and hosted the classes via Zoom for Kids & Teen located across the country. It has been very successful! Each participant represents 100 meals donated to help fight hunger.
The biggest thing we learned about ourselves is that everyone has unique gifts they can use to help lift up others. Not only were we able to share our knowledge and expertise about Voiceover with our peers, but we were able to design a creative way for others to get involved in a worthwhile and impactful cause.
What is your favorite part of your job?
Our most favorite part of our job is meeting creative people and working with teams all over the world! We are fortunate to have a Home Recording Studio that allows us to connect with clients across the globe.
How about when you "turn off" and go home? Any hobbies or fun activities you are involved in?
When we aren't recording Voiceover, we love to study animation, create art and music, play card and board games on family game night, swim, and practice martial arts.
Any must-read, must-watch or must-follow recommendations?
MUST-READ: we love "The Art of Encanto", "The Epic Mentor Guide" by the founder of Etre Girls, Illana Raia, and we are currently deep into the Harry Potter book series (eventhough we are probably the last people on the planet to read them!)
MUST-WATCH: the new "Magic Mixies - Mixlings" animated series created by Moose Toys featured on the MooseTube Squad YouTube channel (you might hear a familiar voice!)
MUST-FOLLOW: hopefully us on Instagram! Our handle is @GlowGirlsVO and we try to have lots of fun with Reels and also feature our voiceover projects. We also enjoy following industry news from "The Toy Insider" and "KidScreen".
