More About Me

Tell us about your career journey and how you ended up here.

I've worked as a professional storyteller, musician, teaching artist, and handmade artist for over 23 years. Through a combination of my passion for igniting imagination and designing handmade goods I created my line of Super Blanky products. As I continue to broaden that passion I'm developing my Dreamighty brand of products which will make my uniquely patented blankets available to all ages.

Describe yourself in 5-7 words.

Part wonder woman, part wondering and generally having fun!

Tell us about a time when you thrived at work, and what you learned about yourself from that experience.

Although research can be daunting at times, since I can get a bit carried away in the process, I'm most successful when I'm thorough. Long before I handed my invention over to my patent attorney I knew I had something unique because of all the investigation work I'd done.

What is your favorite part of your job?

Expanding the creative and brand vision. Product development.

How about when you "turn off" and go home? Any hobbies or fun activities you are involved in?

I enjoy the art of live performance, storytelling, theater, and music. I'm also a musician and play the autoharp.

Any must-read, must-watch or must-follow recommendations?

I love entrepreneurial podcasts, books and good reads on personal growth. I've been a Dr. Wayne Dyer fan for years and highly recommend his books. And have you seen "Self Made - Madam C.J. Walker" on Netflix? Such a wonderful story!

Anything else you want to share with the WIT Community?

I'm thrilled to be a part of the WIT community of passionate, deliberate women who collectively are a shining example of what it is to be successful in the creative world.
