More About Me

Tell us about your career journey and how you ended up here.

I started my career at marketing agencies, where I was exposed to multiple industries and fell in love with the toy industry.

As Vice President of Marketing at PlayMonster, I played a pivotal role in shaping the company's marketing and brand development efforts as the company grew from a family-owned board game manufacturer into a multi-segment global toy company. My leadership resulted in successful product launches for 5 Second Rule, Koosh, Spirograph, Playskool, My Fairy Garden, Yeti in My Spaghetti, Relative Insanity, and Disney Trivia.

Today, I’m a consultant specializing in growing small and midsize companies using strategic marketing and branding in the toy, gift and entertainment industries.

Describe yourself in 5-7 words - have fun with it!

Playful, entrepreneurial, leader, hard-working, dedicated, passionate, resourceful.

Tell us about a time when you thrived at work, and what you learned about yourself from that experience

One of my accomplishments while at PlayMonster was leveraging a strategic partnership with Dude Perfect, to relaunch Koosh, achieving immediate sell-through at Target. What I learned was teamwork, both internal and external, makes the most successful campaigns.

What is your favorite part of your job?

Launching a new brand and watching it entertain families.

How about when you "turn off" and go home? Any hobbies or fun activities you are involved in?

I love to read, garden, and cheer on my Wisconsin Badgers.

Any must-read, must-watch or must-follow recomendations?

I recommend reading The Ride of a Lifetime by Bob Iger. The behind-the-scenes decision-making that led to the acquisition of Pixar, Marvel, and Lucasfilm and the launch of Disney+ are fascinating.
